Premium Automatic VW T6 LWB Campervan Near Stansted

Meet Daisy, our much-loved 2018 Volkswagen T6 Highline LWB DSG automatic campervan. Based in Newhall, Harlow, close to London Stansted Airport, Daisy was named after our first border collie.

She has been thoughtfully converted and carefully upgraded to provide a comfortable, easy-to-drive campervan for couples and families. Whether you’re planning a long weekend, a coastal escape, a family holiday or a longer road trip through the UK or Europe, Daisy gives you the freedom to travel at your own pace.

Sleeps Up to Four

Daisy has five belted travelling seats and sleeps up to four people. She is particularly well suited to two adults and two children.

The pop-top roof contains a cosy upper bed measuring approximately 185 × 110cm. Downstairs, the rear RIB seat converts into a comfortable double bed measuring approximately 186 × 112cm.

You’re welcome to bring your own bedding, or you can add our Duvalay mattress toppers and bedding bundle to your booking for extra comfort.

Daisy’s diesel heater makes cooler evenings and out-of-season trips much more comfortable, while her solar panel and lithium leisure battery help keep the lights, fridge and everyday campervan equipment running when you’re away from an electric hookup.

Standard 230V household-style plug sockets are available when Daisy is connected to campsite electric hookup. There is no off-grid inverter, so these sockets will not operate when she is running solely from the leisure battery.

Easy and Enjoyable to Drive

Daisy’s DSG automatic gearbox makes her particularly easy and relaxing to drive, even if you haven’t driven a campervan before.

She is also equipped with:

Although Daisy is a spacious long-wheelbase campervan, she remains much easier to drive and park than a larger motorhome. At just under two metres high, she is also suitable for many height-restricted car parks, ferries and car-height European toll lanes, subject to the individual operator’s restrictions.

Campsite and Off-Grid Adventures

Daisy is equally comfortable on a fully serviced campsite or during a quieter off-grid stop.

When connected to electric hookup, you can use the 230V plug sockets as well as the usual lights, fridge and USB charging points. Away from hookup, Daisy’s solar panel and lithium leisure battery provide power for the fridge, lighting, heater controls, water pump, 12V equipment and USB charging.

This makes her suitable for everything from comfortable campsite holidays to more adventurous road trips around Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Lake District and further afield.

A Proper Handover

Before you leave, we’ll give you a clear handover and explain how to use Daisy’s pop-top roof, beds, heater, electrics, water system and kitchen equipment.

We can also send you simple WhatsApp video guides, giving you something to refer back to during your trip. We’re happy to answer questions and help first-time campervan travellers feel confident before setting off.

Dog-Friendly Campervan Hire

Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, making Daisy a lovely choice for dog-friendly holidays and outdoor adventures.

Up to two dogs can travel with you, subject to our £50 dog-friendly cleaning supplement. We ask that dogs are not left unattended inside the campervan and that you bring suitable beds, blankets or covers to protect the seats and sleeping areas.

European travel must be agreed before booking. Our European travel package costs £100 for trips of up to 14 nights and includes the necessary owner authorisation, VE103 documentation and applicable European insurance and breakdown arrangements.
